Conway, Ark. – Central Baptist College Athletics has a busy second week of 2022 with all four winter sports in action at some point during the week. Here is a preview of how this week will look:
WRESTLING – CBC wrestling returns to the mat tomorrow in Bartlesville, Okla., for the Oklahoma Wesleyan Duals before they host the 2022 CBC Mustang Invitational this Saturday at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. The wrestling action will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning and will continue until all of the action is completed. The event will be live-streamed on both mats, with mat 1 on youtube.com/c/CBCAthletics and mat 2 on the Central Baptist College Athletics Facebook page.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL – The women’s basketball team plays three games on the road this week, looking to improve upon their 9-4 overall record and their 2-2 record in the American Midwest Conference. CBC heads to Lyon College tomorrow night for an AMC clash at 5:30 p.m. in Batesville before a road trip to Missouri on Thursday and matchups with William Woods on Thursday night and Missouri Baptist on Saturday afternoon.
MEN’S BASKETBALL – CBC men’s basketball will look to remain undefeated in AMC contests as they head to the road for three conference games this week. Like the ladies, the men will be in Batesville against Lyon tomorrow night, William Woods in Fulton, Mo., on Thursday and St. Louis for a matchup with Missouri Baptist on Saturday.
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD – The track and field team competes for the first time in 2022 this Saturday when they head to Cape Girardeau, Mo., for the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks Invitational at the SEMO Rec Center.
