LACROSSE, Wisconsin – The Ouachita Baptist University wrestling team faced nationally-ranked No. 9 Upper Iowa on Friday night in the Battle on the Bluffs with the Peacocks coming away with a 23-15 win.
A pair of Ouachita wrestlers picked up victories to remain undefeated on the season. Johnny Green recorded an 8-4 decision victory in the 285 class to move to 5-0 this season. Brooks Schrimsher also moved to 5-0 with a win by fall in 2:05 in the 197 class.
Other wins for the Tigers included Adrian Salazar-Rivera with a 5-4 decision win in the 174 class and a win by Noah Yemens to start the night in the 125 class by a 3-2 decision.
Final Results
The Tigers take a short road trip south to Decorah, Iowa on Saturday to wrestle in the Luther College Open.
