Walnut Ridge, Ark. – Wrestling in their first dual of the season last night, Central Baptist College was on the mat at the Southerland-Mabee Center against the Eagles of Williams Baptist University. CBC earned a pair of wins in the six matches they wrestled, falling 47-10 to WBU.
Christian Richer and Gregory Pierre-Louis were the two Mustangs to win. Richer won his 165-pound bout by a 9-1 major decision over Ethan Walling. Pierre-Louis defeated Kenneth Lewis in the heavyweight bout by fall at the 2:49 mark. For Richer, it was his third win of the season overall and his first win in a dual while it was the first win of any sort for Pierre-Louis on the season.
