Arkadelphia, Ark. – Wrestling for the third time this week, Central Baptist College was on the mat inside Vining Arena today for the Ouachita Baptist Duals. A pair of Mustangs won their matches today at 165 pounds and 149 pounds.
Christian Richer, wrestling at 165, was able to win by fall in his match against Jake Sheehy. Richer pinned Sheehy at the 4:30 mark. Brian Mas, wrestling at 149, won his match over Marcel Molu by a 7-3 decision to give CBC their nine points in the match. Richer, Alejandro Mas and Shayne Parris all won exhibition matches as well.
CBC is off now until Dec. 9 when they welcome Cumberland University to Reddin Fieldhouse for the first home dual of the season. The first dual that night, between Cumberland and Ouachita Baptist, is scheduled for 6 p.m. and the CBC match with Cumberland will follow.
