18 Student-Athletes Named to SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll

18 student-athletes finished the 2020-21 academic year with a 3.0 grade-point average or better

OKLAHOMA CITY – 18 Lyon College student-athletes were named to the Sooner Athletic Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll, which was released by the conference on Wednesday afternoon.

The SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll awards those student-athletes competing in an NAIA-sponsored sport throughout the league who achieved a 3.0 grade-point average within the previous academic year at member institutions. The Commissioner’s Honor Roll included a record 1,389 honorees.

Darius Anderson, Hunter Ballard, Kameron Collins, Nathan Couch, Ignacio Gomez, Malcolm Howard, Michael Monier, Balah Muhammad, Anthony Overpeck, David Overpeck, Brayden Smith, Jayden Thomas, Austin Trimble, DeVante White, Raymond Wille and Dylan Wyatt all earned the recognition as student-athletes for the Lyon College football team. Laura Lincoln and Ashley Whetzal were honored as members of the Scots’ women’s wrestling team.
