The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced its Academic All-Conference Awards on Tuesday with 11 Tigers among the honorees. Ouachita’s Academic All-GLVC squad includes fourth-time honoree Cody Cagle, second-time recipient Noah Yeamans, and first-time selections Christian Carney, Chase Howerton, Evan Kennedy, William Martin, Cole McCartney, Donald Paul, Rickey Rogers, Jr., Zeke Smotherman, and Alex Thyes.
The Academic All-GLVC honor is bestowed upon student-athletes who meet a cumulative GPA of 3.30 over two semesters of an academic year at the institution. The 11 Tigers were among 3,918 student-athletes from across the conference to earn Academic All-GLVC distinction.
