INCLEMENT WEATHER FORECAST ALTERS WEEKEND SCHEDULES

ARKADELPHIA – With the forecast calling for inclement weather this weekend, changes have been made to the schedules for swimming & diving, track & field, wrestling, and basketball.

SWIMMING & DIVING
The home dual against cross-street rival Henderson State originally scheduled for this Friday, January 23 has been postponed and rescheduled for next Friday, January 30. Diving is set to start at 3 p.m. Swimming will begin at 5:45 p.m. The senior day ceremony will be at 5:30 p.m.

TRACK & FIELD
The women’s indoor track & field team will not be traveling to Kansas to compete at the Rumble in the Jungle event hosted by Pittsburg State.

WRESTLING
The wrestling team will not be traveling to Nebraska to compete in the tri-dual originally scheduled for Saturday, January 24.

BASKETBALL
This Saturday’s road trip to Searcy to take on Harding has been postponed to Monday, January 26 with the women’s game starting at 5:30 p.m. and the men’s game to follow at 7:30 p.m. No changes have been made to this Thursday night’s home games against cross-street rival Henderson State. The women’s game starts at 5:30 p.m. The men’s game follows at approximately 7:30 p.m.

University officials are monitoring the weather and will make further changes if needed.
