ARKADELPHIA – Three student-athletes from the Ouachita Baptist University wrestling team have been selected to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
The honorees include William Martin, Brooks Schrimsher, and Noah Yeamans. Selections are based on academic and athletic performance for student-athletes with at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. All three of Ouachita’s selections are now eligible for Academic All-America honors, which will be announced in June.
Martin is a junior from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma majoring in business administration. Schrimsher is a sophomore from Huntsville, Alabama majoring in finance, who was recently selected to the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division II Scholar All-America Team. Yeamans is a recent graduate from Allen, Texas with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
