ST. LOUIS, Mo. – A total of 25 Lyon College student-athletes were named to the American Midwest Conference All-Academic Team as the conference announced its award winners for winter sports on Wednesday afternoon.
To be eligible for Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must be in their second semester at their AMC institution, have at least a 3.0 GPA and finish the year on the team.
Men’s basketball student-athletes recognized as Academic All-AMC are: Ben Keton, Chris Craig, Dominique Loyd, Eric Koludrovic, Faris Verlasevic, Grant Patterson, Jawaun Bryant, John Michael Stastny, Trenton Bell and Winston Peace.
Women’s basketball student-athletes recognized as Academic All-AMC are: Ashley Jones, Blysse Harmon, Haley Wesley, Kaitlin Towell, Katie Turner, Klaudija Bacovic, Kristen Baham, Mari-Hanna Newsom, Marleigh Dodson, Paige Kelley and Paige Tate.
Men’s wrestling student-athletes recognized as Academic All-AMC are: Austin Creamer, Jacob Lawrinenko, Omar Gasmann and Raul Gonzalez Jr.
