FORT WORTH, Texas – The Lyon College men’s wrestling team competed in the Last Chance Qualifier on Saturday. The event took place at Texas Wesleyan University.
Carlos Cuevas squared off with Edward Holly in his first match of the day. Cuevas overwhelmed Holly, en route to a win via tech fall (14-3). Carlos would finish 1-2 on the day.
Omar Gasmann also performed well for the Scots. Gasmann faced off with fellow teammate Sam Bollman. Gasmann got the best of Bollman, en route to a win via tech fall (10-0). Gasmann would finish 1-2 on the day.
Sam Bollman also competed for the Scots in his two matches today.
