FORT WORTH, Texas – Jasmine Hernandez officially became the first Lyon College women’s wrestler to compete in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials today as she battled some of the top wrestlers across the United States of America.
Even though Hernandez came up short in both of her matches today, the Scot wrestler competed valiantly and represented Lyon College extremely well on the mat today inside Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
The champions from the U.S. Olympic Team Trials will become eligible to represent the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, on August 1-7, 2021.
